About the Budget Office
Frostburg State University’s Budget Office is located on the third floor of the Hitchins Building and reports to the Vice President of Administration & Finance.
Responsibilities of the Budget Office include:
- Preparing and submitting the university’s annual operating budget request to the University System of Maryland, Department of
- Legislative Services and Department of Budget & Management
- Preparing and monitoring Frostburg State University's detailed annual operating budget
- Maintaining position vacancy reports.
- Collecting and analyzing fiscal data
- Reporting budget information to the University System of Maryland and other state agencies
- Reconciling the credit card distribution
