Instructions for New Employee Orientation

之前, or on your first day of employment, 所有 Regular Status employees must meet with the 好处 Manager to review and enroll in your employee benefits and select your retirement plan.  To schedule an appointment with the 好处 Manager, c所有 (301)687-4398 or send an email to benefits@agrovidaarin.com.

    All new employees are required to complete the following forms. Please note that some of the forms must be printed, 完成, and submitted to the Office of 人力资源. Some of the forms are interactive and can be 完成 and submitted online. New employees cannot be added to the 工资 until we receive 所有 of the forms indicated here.

    In addition to the printed forms, please bring the following items when meeting with the 好处 Manager:

    1. Signed copy of Appointment letter
    2. Copy of certified marriage certificate (if applicable)
    3. Children's birth certificates (if applicable)
  • 退休 Enrollment

    把你的 完成 retirement forms and 所有 specified information to your meeting with the 好处 Manager. Enrollment in a retirement plan is mandatory. 

    退休计划

    FSU retirement plans are based upon exemption status and employment classification, i.e., Nonexempt, Exempt, or 12-month Faculty. Please refer to your appointment letter for employee status or contact the Office of 人力资源 at (301) 687-4106.

    • 非免税员工 - Nonexempt employees must enroll in the pension plan, which is managed by the Maryland State 退休 and Pension System (厂商建议零售价).

    • 免除员工 & 教职员工 - Faculty and exempt staff employees have a choice between the 厂商建议零售价 and the Optional 退休 Plan (ORP). 
      • 员工 with prior membership in the Maryland State 退休 and Pension System must enroll in the 厂商建议零售价 and are not eligible for the Optional 退休 Plan. 
      • 退休 elections must be made at the beginning of employment and cannot be changed thereafter. There is no longer a one-year window after hire date to elect the ORP.

    In addition to the state-mandated programs, the State of Maryland offers supplemental retirement annuity (SRA) plans through several providers. Participation in an SRA is voluntary, and you may enroll/change at any time. All employees are eligible to participate in any of the Supplemental 退休 Annuity (SRA) plans offered by the following providers:
